'I was told that everyone I'd served with in the military died shortly after I left. (Part 6)'
The White Hole is a phenomenon caused by the compression of The Crushing Fist on the Inner Shield of The First World. As the Inner Shield partially failed, a single focal point of spatial rupture occurred, through which light, energy, matter and various chaotic horrors as well as the remnants of Teskoy Prison entered the universe of The First World. Unlike a black hole, where gravitational forces are so strong that even light is unable to escape, the White Hole does the reverse, expanding space away from its center, making it impossible to reach. The closer to the center, the worse its effects and radiated energy is, due to the inverse-square law of physics.
Cristina Thompson attempted to disrupt the White Hole by detonating a Dimensional Fracture Bomb, however this was unsuccessful due to the compression force on the Inner Shield.
