Josh was a highschool student at the same time [[The AuthorNoah Fulmer]] was in his freshman year. He was part of the school soccer team, and briefly dated [[Caitlin]].

Josh and [[The Author]] ended up being rivals due to his relationship with [[Caitlin]]. He was initially sceptical of [[The AuthorNoah Fulmer]]'s ability to detect unusual or supernatural events and entities, but left [[The AuthorNoah Fulmer]] alone after the encounter with a homeless man who had entered the school.
